Green Acres Farmers Market Harvest Fest - From November 15-30, residents of Sacramento, Placer County and the surrounding area can head to the green Acres Farmer's Market for its multi-day family-friendly harvest festival. From games to food, this festival celebrates local commerce and the harvest season.
Farm Fresh Thanksgiving Sides – On November 18, Farm to Fork Capital and the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op bring holiday foods and recipes to the spotlight. Hosted at the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op, this event focuses on vegetarian fare aimed at adding a unique flare to Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Some recipes to be sampled include wild mushroom, leek, and sage stuffings, a unique green bean casserole and roasted acorn squash with kale. Admission is $45 to the public, $35 for co-op members.
