On February 26, online business review site Yelp revealed its Top 100 Places to Eat in the United States, and two eateries from Sacramento made the list. Here's a look at the two restaurants — The Kitchen Restaurant and Cafe Rolle — and what you can expect when you dine there:
Cafe Rolle - You may have seen this French eatery featured on the Food Network show "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives." As the restaurant's website explains, "At Cafe Rolle you can enjoy a wide array of French delicacies: a variety of outstanding pates, abundantly fresh smoked fish, inventive sandwiches, glorious salads, quiche, tarts, cakes, crème brulee, mousse chocolat and other unique deli items." The restaurant has been open for business on H Street in East Sacramento since 2002 and has a 4.5-star rating on Yelp.
The Kitchen Restaurant - This farm-to-fork eatery has been serving up delicious food for more than 20 years. Chef Randall Selland uses fresh produce, meat and seafood from regional vendors and farmer's markets, so you know you're getting the freshest local ingredients. Dishes include Sonoma Duck Breast, Slow Roasted Lamb Saddle, Nantucket Bay Scallops and Fava Bean Agnolotti. The restaurant is located at 2225 Hurley Way and has a 4.5-star Yelp rating.
