The Sacramento Food & Film Festival is a great opportunity to watch food-themed films while enjoying meals from some of the best restaurants in the area.

When you reside in Sacramento or the surrounding area, you come to find that there's always something exciting going on here in California's state capital to satisfy a wide array of unique interests. For example, from March 20 through March 30, local residents will have the opportunity to attend the third annual Sacramento Food & Film Festival. This event consists of film screenings that are sure to make your mouth water.

So, what exactly can attendees expect?

"Seven food-themed movies will be paired with special meals at top restaurants and other venues, and will involve panel discussions for foodies and filmies alike," reports the Sacramento Bee. "Some events are free, others range from $15 to $40."

Among the films screening at the Festival are "Spinning Plates," which focuses on three restaurants and the people who run them, "Beer Wars," which provides an inside look at the beer industry and "Bottle Shock," the story of a wine competition in the 1970s during which Napa Valley wine defeated Paris wine in a blind taste test.
